FAQ

1What is an Incident Command Dashboard?

The Incident Command Dashboard is a single iPad screen of the mobile command App that's used to help the commander manage incident scene details. At a minimum, the dashboard includes a scene map, units on scene, current assignments, incident log, and a running elapsed time display. The commander should be able to assess incident status with a quick glance; and dashboard updates should require very little effort to complete so as to maximize the commander's eyes-on-scene time.

2Is special training required?

No. Our built-in trainer launches immediately after install and shows you the basics. You can run your first incident in just a few minutes.

3Can we share unit inventory?

Yes! Multi-station departments can enter unit inventory one time and share with other subscribers in the department or for mutual-aid.

4Can it run a PAR for firefighting?

Yes. The ZoneCommand for Firefighting subscription includes a personnel accountability (PAR) tool for accountability. The Incident Command Dashboard will automatically display all units on scene with a respective PAR count for each unit.

5Is there EOC integration for incident command?

Yes! For large-scale incidents, commanders can securely share real-time command dashboard information with subscribing EOC officials and agencies.
